Of all the established third person shooter franchises out there, SOCOM, (Special Operations Command), already has a special place in Playstation history. First, Back To The Future: The Game a couple of weeks ago, and now Atari's Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, is making March feel a little like 80's retro gaming month to me, although I suppose it takes more than two titles to form a definitive pattern, one more before March ends, and then I'd say March has had a bit of an 80's tribute feel. In the gaming world, golf is one sport that the sport division of Electronic Arts' game factory has near all sewn up, as they have little competition from other game producers. There are multiple reasons that Crysis 2 is certainly one of the more marquee titles to be released recently, but I believe the paramount reason would have the stunning visual look of the original title. The MLB "The Show" series is probably the most popular baseball gaming franchise available today.
