The Fancy Pants Adventure...quite a game handle, not quite as oddball as "Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People", but certainly in the approximate ballpark. For those macho gamers that find themselves a little put off by the prissy sounding title, not to worry and don't let the obscure title act as a deterrent from trying The Fancy Pants Adventure, we assure you there's no character flounci... more.

This week on the Playstation Network, the PS3 faithful gets a freebie tryout on "Swarm", a rather unique and interesting downloadable title from Hothead Games. At first look Swarm may be "Care Bear" cutesy looking, but the game is actually loosely based on a rather cruel fact of nature, which is "There is strength in numbers...", the cruel part being that this fact is only a fact because this stre... more.

We at GGD are a little surprised that Valve/Gabe Newell decided to put the majority of their resources and energies into the new Portal instead of the extremely coveted Half Life III, but no offense to Portal or Portal fans, the game transportation based puzzler is about as innovative as a gaming idea can be, and deserved major respect on that premise alone. On April 12th "RIO: The Game" will be released a mere 4 days after the April 8th premiere of the computer-animated movie of the same name, short the "The Game" subtitle of course. The news that any particular movie would soon come with it's own game to match wasn't necessarily much reason for celebration in the past, and we would even go as far to say some of them have been down right opportunisti... more.

Remember the original arcade Rush N' Attack? No, well good for you, that means you're young enough that you didn't have to suffer through the 80's as an adolescent like we did, that was some terrible music and bad hair for the most part, although we do also remember hip hop/rap birthing it's way in to mainstream culture and the first toaster-sized cell phones, so we guess the 80's did have their r... more.

This week on PSN there is a new entry that, at least on first sight appears to be another "me too" clone of a genre of games that will likely be quite familiar, yet maybe there's more Stardrone than a quick first impression can tell. Which genre? Just trying to place Stardrone in a neat category turned out not to be as simple as that early first impression led me to be believe... Our first impr... more.

Another addition to the Need for Speed franchise is freshly upon us, the sequel to the original "Shift", Shift 2: Unleashed. This has gotta be very welcome news to all the video racing purists out there, as it's clear right out of the gate, that developer Slightly Mad Studios has gone the extra mile to make this sequel fastidiously accurate and realistic. A hangar full of super detailed cars, a mu... more.
