GameGuideDog gets the lowdown from one of our favorite high speed fanatic video game connoisseurs. This write-up was submitted to us from top gaming blogger: TheControllerOnline. Up front, here’s something to ponder from a semi-respectable video gamers board, there’s a really blunt opinionated and personal set of stab comments made on the question of purchase or renting Need For Speed The Run. (Name omitted) gamer states: Need For Speed: The Run has main things people don’t like. Short story, quick time events during cutscenes, too easy, but maybe they played in easy to begin with.

Not only is this a new mode but it aims to introduce a story to the series. Well, more of a story than we’ve seen in past games. A simulation game, this is not. But does it work?
