Remember the hyper pink-shaded Powepuff tv show? Well the girls are staring in a new game. The Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville from the developer of Radiangames, is coming to Steam March 14, 2014. It will be available for Linux, Mac and Windows. It is single-player with full controller support.

So to recap this extremely fun news (since we here at GameGuidedog are HUGE fans of powerpuffs, fighting crime, trying to save the world, they’re just in time… the Power Puff girls, Blossom, Buttercup, and let’s not forget Bubbles.)

Mojo Jojo says “I must remember to destroy the PowerPuff Girls after my breakfast has been eaten.”  Ah.. so many memories. ~GGD Chief Editor

It’s also a great thing to mention we gave away the GameCube version of PowerPuff Girls and Fairly Odd Parents completely for free via the Wonderdog Software and Games video game store.  It was given to a small child whose father was being deployed to Iraq (this was in 2001), and he couldn’t afford the expensive games.  He got his son a few Gameboy DS titles, and told his father in honor of his service to our country, to have his son go over to our newest releases shelf (at eye level to the youngster were all the latest GameCube games rated E for everyone.)

Sugar, spice, and everything nice: these were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girl. But Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction – CHEMICAL X. Did you read that in the narrator’s voice? On November 18, 1998, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup began their weekly crusade against crime, and for this reviewer, we are certainly anticipating a fun reunion to townsville!
