Yes, Naughty Dog has revealed that they’re working on the next Uncharted game – Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, the first glimpses of which will be premiered at the upcoming Spike TV VGAs. PopWatch, however, managed to get dibs on some early details for Nate’s next adventure.
From the search for El Dorado to Marco Polo’s lost ships, the next Uncharted will take Nate to the the Arabian Peninsula and the Rub’ al Khali Desert.
The game’s plot will have emphasis on the relationship that Nate has with his long-time colleague, partner, and mentor, Victor Sullivan. As the title may have told you, the game also has some lies and deceit in it. According to Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig, this ‘deception’ will “lay out in multiple ways” throughout the game. This goes from “Drake doing the deceiving to Drake being deceived to some mysterious deception about Drake’s very identity.”
