White Knight Chronicles 2 Review | GameGuideDog

You don’t want to miss our White Knight Chronicles 2 Walkthrough of course, which covers everything the game has to offer, but how does it compare to it’s first parent version and among the other JRPG’s this year?  White Knight Chronicles 2 launched as a PS3 exclusive and many fans and gamers are mostly concerned with the advantages and disadvantages of certain class types they may choose.  We uncovered some opinionated suggestions from Ruppel via GF that lists the pros and cons for character types like this:

IN GENERAL

Divine Skills are must haves for every class. The following skills are the most useful (some can be dropped, those marked bold are applied for everyclass):

Angel’s Favour
to have you or a ally nullified for any magic attack once

Heal (up to IV)
to heal yourself or other party members

+Heal (up to IV)
to heal yourself and also nearby party members

Raise
to help regain an fallen ally’s health up to a quarter of their maxed HP

Raise II
to help regain an fallen ally’s health up their maxed HP

Refresh
to cure yourself or an ally from almost any status ailment

+Haste
to have you and nearby allies act quicker

+Fortify
to have you and nearby allies’ DEF raised

+Mana Barrier
to have your and nearby allies’ RES raised

Fatigue
to have an enemies’ ATK lowered

Mollify
to have an enemies’ DEF lowered

Slow
to have an enemies’ actions slowed down

Silence
to stop an enemy from using magic spells or see an Elemental blow itself up

Holy Light
to instantly kill a downed Skeleton or to remove a Succubi and Wraith’s shield

When not playing online it is advised to be able to heal yourself when needed. NPC’s can take care of it too, but as NPC’s can be unpredictable sometimes and if you are the only survivor in a battle, you will need to be able to at least heal yourself.

White Knight Chronicles 2 Review Per our Partner:

White Knight Chronicles II is an extremely deep and rich role-playing experience; however it has more than its fair share of problems. Japanese role-playing games during the course of this generation have been destroying themselves with cliché stories and redundant gameplay mechanics. White Knight Chronicles II is hardly a move away from either one of these, but to be fair there’s a lot to love. WKC II is dragged down by a lot of issues both big and small which include extremely poor level design, clunky menus, and a very light tutorial section.
