Another addition to the Need for Speed franchise is freshly upon us, the sequel to the original "Shift", Shift 2: Unleashed. Good news for fans of what most gamers consider the best title of 2010, Mass Effect 2, which made many PS3 gamers quite happy when the game became cross-platform. Now that many have conquered the lengthy Mass Effect 2 disc-based campaign, the release of the second DLC, dubbed "Arrival" that continues the Mass Effect storyline will certainly be welcomed by the Xbox 360 and PS3 faithful alike. In Oct 2009, the well-received RPG Torchlight, came on the gaming scene, and the fantasy-themed game had a fair bit going for that pleased fans of the genre. In the gaming world, golf is one sport that the sport division of Electronic Arts' game factory has near all sewn up, as they have little competition from other game producers. There are multiple reasons that Crysis 2 is certainly one of the more marquee titles to be released recently, but I believe the paramount reason would have the stunning visual look of the original title. It seems these days that the modern gaming world is being overwhelmed by H.D. remakes. Well, along stumbles a new remake set for release March 2, 2011. But does it really look H.D.? It didn’t take long for RIFT fans to get a gander at the almighty new MMO Rift scouring servers everywhere. At launch today it was only hours before the Direct2Drive site started promoting the ‘Collector’s Edition’ version of the game. The MLB "The Show" series is probably the most popular baseball gaming franchise available today. I've owned one, and although it's been awhile since I stepped up to the video plate, I still had a pretty good idea what to expect and in most regards, I wasn't disappointed.
